We have been adding to our site at purencool. John Cullen (owner) looked at the download speeds and found that by making some small tweaks to the already lightweight framework we could speed up our delivery of our website by half. According to www.boyddesign.com.au our speeds went from 2.10 sec to .99 sec (Yes that is fast). As you can see below

Why is this important, you may ask? The average user will only stay on a website for eight seconds and then leave if you don't engage them. This small amount of time should not be wasted with the browser trying to load information about your websites content. If the websites design does not get a chance to load customers will leave.
